### Bike Skills Reflection

My Reflection
I was learning how to ride a bike.  They taught us how to use hand signals, and improve our bike skills and also taught us safety when we were on the road.  I found it hard to do an figure eight, if your wandering what a figure eight is than its basically you ride through two-cones like a figure eight.  My next step is to improve on my figure eight.

### Determine The Ratio

My Reflection
I was Learning to determine the ratio.  I was finding the common factors in the questions.  I was okay because I got more question right than wrong.  The one that I got wrong is because I forgot to simplify the ratio.  My next step I to look at the question before I answer the question.

### Bike Skills

Bike Skills
On Wednesday room 29 went to the field to do Bike Skills.  When we got there and met Keri and Satali.   After that our team (Team Pepperoni Pizza) was first to get a helmet again, followed by other three teams.  After that we got our bikes, and there were still not enough bikes for our group again, but this time I did not share a bike with anyone.

First of all we had to line up behind the cones again, but the setup faced downhill Kelly said that we didn't have to work so hard because it was going downhill then she said that we were practising to brake, but this time it was four bikers at once instead of two bikers, after we finished we moved to a different course.

When we got there, there were only two obstacles, my group (Team Pepperoni Pizza) had to combine with the other team (IMMR's) so we were one big group that's what the other groups had to do as well.

For this obstacle we had to go through two cones that were called 'Gates' and these were setup in a zig zag, but this time only two riders went, after when we finished we had to ride to the back of the line, after we had one lap of free ride, but when we finished we had to ride along this squashed fire hose, someone asked Kelly were she got it from, and she said her brother was a Fireman, I tried but I went off track a couple of times.

Finally, we finished we had to put our bikes were they came from, and put our helmets back were they belong then we fetched our hats and went back to class.

### The Three Little Ninjas

My Reflection
I was learning to write a fractured fairy tale and I did this with Mauriora.  We wrote about The Three Little Pigs but instead of The Three Little Pigs we wrote about The Three Little Ninjas and the Big Fat Wolf, we also had to include paragraphing. I thought this was fun because we could make it into our point of view.  My next step is to add more detail and better describing words to my sentences.

### Te Tuhi

My Reflection
I was learning to make a collage.  There are three different kinds of collages, there is A normal collage, a 3D collage and a digital collage.  The first step was to rip/cut three different pieces of coloured paper on our  piece of white paper.  The second step is to put the this blue floppy piece of carbon paper on top of the white paper and cut a part of calendar to trace on the blue floppy thing.  The third step is to cut something on the other side of the calendar and glue it on your white paper.  The final step is to paint on your white paper.  My next step is work on my cutting.

### Swimming Reflection

My Reflection
I was learning the basics of swimming.  I learnt gliding, front crawl, starfish and floating.  The hardest for me is floating because whenever I try floating I always seem to sink.  Now I need to improve on my floating.

### Bike Skills

Bike Skills
On Wednesday Room 29 went to the field to do bike skills. We were led by Keri and Satali.  We had been learning to keep safe on the bike.

We were split into four groups.  One group was called team party animals.  Another team was called the green fire dragons, the other team was called the marshmallow mountain riders, and finally my group the team pepperoni pizza!!!

So first our group was first to get a bike followed by the other three teams.  My bike color was blue, then when we were lining up, there were not enough bikes for my group, so I volunteered to share my bike, so then ended up taking my bike and I has to share with Aaron's bike.

First we put on our helmet and practiced using our brakes, we had to ride to the end of the cones and then brake and put our feet down at the red cones.  Then we tried using hand signals, first we had to ride our bike to the end and wave our hand when Keri waved her hand.

When we bike skills was nearly finish we got free time!!! we get to ride around the field twice.  Since I was sharing with Aaron.  Aaron get to go twice first while I had to go twice last.  I felt great riding in free time and it was quite fun.  It wasn't hard at all.

My Reflection
I did this task with Mauriora, we had to choose a real fairy tale and remake it to our point of view, its also known as Fractured fairy tales.  I thought it was easy because we could make a very good fractured fairy tale.  My next step is to work with my group.

### Thumbelina- Language Features

My Reflection
I was learning to identify adjectives, adverb and simile.  Tanzee and I found the easiest to find was the adjective because there were adjectives everywhere in Thumbelina.  Tanzee and I found the hardest to find is the simile because the story Thumbelina there are barely any simile in the whole entire story.  My next step is to look at the language feature.

### Determining Credibility

My Reflection
I was learning to determine credibility.  Mauriora and I found out what makes a site reliable or what doesn't make a site reliable.  We had to answer all these questions about these two website that we had to research. I found this tricky because when we needed to find the answer for the questions, I had to go back and fourth
to the website and back, it was pretty annoying, plus the question were hard.  My next step is to get a better understanding of the question.

### Term 2 Week 7

My recount
Yesterday I did a paragraphing workshop with Mrs Melville.  I learnt that a paragraph is like a hamburger there is a introduction, topic, body and a conclusion.  Then she showed us a part of a book review and where we should put a paragraph because there were no paragraphs in it.  So what we had to do was fine where the paragraph ends.  And that is the end of the workshop.  I found the workshop fine it was okay.  I did the workshop at room 29.  I did this workshop because I needed some help on paragraph. Next time I hope have a better understanding at paragraphing.

### Fact Finding In Non-Fiction Texts

My Reflection

I have  been learning to find and summarise information.  I found this hard because I treid to summarise but I found it difficult.  My next step is to keep practising this skill.

### Geomerty 3D Shapes

My Reflection
I was learning to recognise and describe 3D shapes using mathematical language.  I had to work out how many faces, corners and edges of each shape.  I thought it was easy because it was easy to name the shapes and count the faces, corners and edges.

My Reflection
I am learning about facts and opinions. In this activity we had to have a buddy, mine was Ridwan. It was tricky because we couldn't understand the text until a friend helped us. I think I did a bad stranded of quality, I need to practice fact and opinions more.

### Probability With Yahtzee

My Reflection
I was learning about probability.  We had to find out what numbers are more and less likely on a dice. Me and Quinn found out that you are more likely to get the number on the top of the dice than any other number.
I found this quite easy because Quinn helped a lot. My next step is to take more part in the activity.

### Johnny Fraction Game

• How do you compare fractions with like numerators?  You can't compare fractions with like numerators.
• How do you compare fractions with like denominators? You can compare fractions with like denominators only if it is the same denominator and numerator.
• How do you compare fractions with different numerators and denominators?  You can compare fractions with different numerators and denominators here let me show you 1/2 and 2/4 you know that halves are split into two pieces so if you take one half away you are left with one half and you also know that quarters are split into four pieces so if you take two quarters away you will have two quarters which is also known as a half.  So that's why 1/2 and 2/4 is the same.

I think I did well on figuring on the instructions because I forgot to read the instructions Because I immediately clicked play.  I think I didn't do well on using my time because I watch two videos that I already know about.  My next to actually need to focus on my work.

### Speech brainstorm

My Reflection
I think I did well on gathering ideas because I thought hard and long about the words and ideas.
I did find it a little tricky because I didn't know how much or what to put in my speech.
I found writing my speech quite fun because we got to write about what ever we wanted, and if it was good we would be recognised and if it wasn't it was still fun writing it.
My next step is to use a better vocabulary.

My Reflection
I think I did well on the math questions because I already know all the answers because I counted the cubes length and width.  I think I didn't do well on listening to the instruction because I showed my work to the teacher and did something wrong three times because forgot to put an idea on my work. My next step is to multiply bigger paddocks.

My reflection
I am learning different strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems, I learnt rounding and compensating and P.V.  Partitioning.  The easiest strategy to learn would be place value.  I would mostly use place value because it was much easier to use and you can use it for any numbers.
